You may e-mail the Rector, the Rev. John Ball

St. Mary's Parish is located near the southern tip of St. Mary's County, about 60 miles southeast of Washington, D.C. and 70 miles south of Annapolis, the state capital. Trinity Church is situated on a peninsula near the confluence of the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay. It sits on a point of land (Church Point) overlooking the St. Mary's River, surrounded by Historic St. Mary's City, an ongoing restoration and historic park which includes a reproduction of the original Maryland State House, a restored colonial tobacco farm, and a large visitors' center complete with colonial inn or "ordinary" and a reconstruction of the "Dove", one of the two ships that brought the English settlers to Maryland. Activities portraying living history are conducted during the summer months and attract an ever-growing number of tourists. The church, rectory and parish hall are also set in the midst of the campus of St. Mary's College of Maryland, a small but excellent liberal arts college which is part of the Maryland state system.

Parish buildings in St. Mary's City include the church, which seats about 175 people, a well-equipped parish hall housing the Rector's office and meeting rooms, a small parish- operated gift shop (the Mulberry Shoppe , which once was a tobacco shed), and the rectory. Trinity churchyard is beautifully kept and includes the parish cemetery and columbarium which are used by both members and non-members.

Both of the parish churches are located adjacent to Maryland Route 5. Route 5 leads from the Washington Beltway through Waldorf and Leonardtown to Point Lookout. Maryland Route 235 runs from the junction with Route 5 south of Waldorf through Lexington Park and past the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Route 235 rejoins Route 5 in Ridge, 1.2 miles North of St. Mary's Chapel. Please refer to the Southern Maryland maps for more information.

St. Mary's Chapel

St. Mary's Chapel is a small, charming Victorian structure which comfortably accommodates about 75 worshipers. The chapel is located on the East side of Maryland Route 5 in Ridge, Maryland, 1.2 miles south of the intersection of Maryland Routes 5 and 235. Please refer to the Chapel map for more information.

Trinity Church

Trinity Church is located in St. Mary's City, Maryland, just off Maryland Route 5 and is adjacent to both Historic St. Mary's City and St. Mary's College of Maryland. The church overlooks the St. Mary's River and is located across the street from the reconstruction of the original Maryland State House. The parish hall and the rectory are immediately adjacent to the church. Please follow signs from Route 5. You may wish to refer to the Trinity map for more information.
