Buildings & Grounds

 

Suggested Amount: $26,000

 

The buildings & Grounds Team  is responsible for property maintenance, overseeing all buildings and grounds (Rectory, Parish Hall, Post Office, Chapel, Trinity) and having the ability to work with service people as well as recruit volunteers and contractors for various jobs. This ministry continues to support the mission by providing a meeting place to worship and buildings for outreach in the community.

 

The level of funds being requested is derived from the previous years of    routine maintenance for buildings and landscaping. New projects that need to be accomplished will require an increase in the amount of funds needed to perform these duties.  This list does not include any items for Trinity Church, which will be submitted on a separate list and a Capital Campaign will be needed to provide the funds. Projects include:

 

· To do Landscaping

· To have the South and West Bank Trimmed at Trinity

· To put a New roof on Chapel

· To replace old non-ground receptacles with grounded ones (Parish Hall)

· To remove dead bushes and remove stumps, vines behind kitchen and along fence (Backhoe work included)

· To install concrete pad in place of dead bushes behind kitchen.

· To repair Gutters/install new gutters/replace rotten fascia boards (Rectory)

· To replace rotten wood on Post Office fascia.

· To paint Exterior/Interior (Post Office)

· To remodel Bathrooms (Parish Hall)

· To install Lights on Pillars to Entrance (Trinity Church)

· To purchase a new Shed for storage.

· To replace Lights/switch Post Office

· Replace Door Parish Hall
