The above figure includes all the costs associated with staffing worship: clergy, musicians, child care, altar guild materials and supplies, organ and piano tuning and repair, and advertising.We are blessed with several opportunities to worship: Sunday mornings at 8 am at St. Mary’s Chapel in Ridge, 10:30 am at Trinity in St. Mary’s City, and 6 pm at Trinity during the school year. Our worship life also includes many special occasions as well: baptisms, weddings, funerals, a Thanksgiving service, Holy Week and Christmas services, Advent Lessons and Carols and the occasional Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Compline. |

Christian Education, Campus Ministry & Seminarian Training Suggested Amount: $47,000 Christian Education supports the parish’s mission by developing and implementing high-quality Christian educational and formational programs and initiatives appropriate to each age and worship style in the parish. Christian education also enhances effective stewardship of parishioners’ talents and resources by empowering each one to develop and articulate a Christian vision for our own lives in concert with each other. Christian Education would like to expand the number and range of program offerings available during the calendar year. This includes increasing the number of teachers in programs for adults and children, tailoring teaching requirements more effectively to teachers’ schedules and other commitments, providing adequate training and development, more effectively integrating program offerings with other parish activities, adding new programs, re-introducing honoraria for guest lecturers/program leaders, exploring possibilities for reviving the Creation Around the Chesapeake program, introducing |
