Jim does all my taxidermy work. I can only say great things about his work, he's a little slower but it shows in his work.

This it the Barnett Buck shot in 1984 and was second in Maryland for years, with a Boone & Crockett score of 210, mounted my Jim Harris. Reproductions are available of this mount.
James P. Harris of St. Marys County, Maryland has an extensive background in Taxidermy spanning over 25 years. He has received over 55 awards in the state, regional, and national competitions, including BEST IN SHOW, BEST IN CATEGORY, MARYLAND CHALLENGE AWARD (twice)DISTINGUISHED TAXIDERMIST CERTIFICATE(3 times gameheads, mammals, and birds). In 1991 James was awarded the MASTER TAXIDERMIST CERTIFICATE. He is the first taxidermist in Maryland to receive this Top M.T.A. Award. Hunters and anglers provide the bulk of the work he does. Other clients include Charles County Parks and Recreation, the State of Maryland (Merkle Wildlife Scantuary), and the U.S.Navy, (Environmental Center-Pax River, Maryland). He is currently listed with the National Taxidermist Association as a judge in all phases of Taxidermy, and has judged the Eastern Regional Taxidermists Convention in Frostburg, Maryland.
