The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families in the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child and to provide information to help others be supportive. TCF is a nonprofit self-help support organization for families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause. There are no dues or fees, and all bereaved family members are welcome.

Monthly chapter meetings offer friendship, caring and a safe place to talk. They are held the second Monday of each month in Leonardtown. Newsletters and telephone friends offer additional support.
